Innovate Heat
Innovate Heat is an interdisciplinary team of engineers specialising in heat pump technology. They offer comprehensive feasibility studies and detailed design solutions for heating services.
My challenge was to establish a strong, professional brand identity that would differentiate Innovate Heat from its competitors in a crowded market.
A thorough analysis of the heating and construction industry revealed a need for a brand that was both clear yet distinctive. The resulting brand identity centres around a confident logo which features the word mark and red arrow.
To achieve a refined and professional look, careful attention was paid to the kerning of each letter pair in the logo's typeface. This meticulous process ensured optimal spacing and visual balance.
A limited colour palette, anchored by the vibrant “Heat Red,” provides a strong, recognisable brand aesthetic. This simplicity and clarity make it easy to apply the brand across a wide range of materials, from digital to print.
To ensure versatility and impact, a range of logo variations was developed. A linear logo, ideal for digital applications, features a sleek, horizontal arrangement of the wordmark and arrow. The stacked logo, perfect for smaller spaces, vertically aligns the wordmark and arrow. For minimalist applications, the monogram logo offers an abstract representation of the brand perfect as a favicon, avatars or watermarks. All variations adhere to strict guidelines, ensuring consistency and impact across various applications.
Creating defined safe zones around the logo is essential to ensure consistent and high-quality design output. This means that all materials delivered to the client and their partners will maintain a considered and professional look
Roboto was selected as the brand's primary font for communications and other applications. To add a touch of personality, the typography in the logo was customised, with the arrow subtly notched out of the "H."
The final, critical stage involves consolidating all brand assets and creating a comprehensive brand guideline document. This user-friendly document provides clear instructions on how to use the brand consistently, ensuring a unified brand identity.
